Want to help local kids in need? - Did you know that Mason/Oceana County DHHS has only 10 licensed foster homes? And in recent months, they've had an all-time high number of children placed in out-of-home care. When children
have to be placed out of the county, they not only have the trauma of being separated from their parents; they are now losing
their friends, school, church, extended family, teachers, coaches, and so on; plus there are increased transportation difficulties related to visits with parents.
If you are interested in being a foster parent, mentor, or even just a volunteer at a respite care event, please call the church
office at 843-8340, and Laurie will give you Ms. Janice Ruedisale’s (Mason/Oceana County Department of Health and Human Services) contact information. Please prayerfully consider this important ministry.

**We also need someone to help with one of the youth groups each Sunday night., beginning September 13. The middle school youth group meets from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, and the high school youth group meets from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
